Adventureman #7 is another fantastic issue.  As someone who comes from a large family, one of the things that I am enjoying the most is how Claire is making sure that all of her family is involved in the escapades.  While the series is called Adventureman, Matt Fraction is unquestionably turning this into an ensemble book.

The art work in Adventureman #7 is another tour de force by Terry Dodson and Rachel Dodson.  I relished turning each page and seeing what was going to be waiting me next.  While I am reviewing this using my laptop, I am also ordering each individual issue.  Plus I’ve already got the first over-sized hardcover and fully plan on getting the next one.

I believe that the Dodson’s art work always adds more to the stories that they are working on, and the gestalt that they have formed with Matt Fraction is amazing.  One final high point that I feel needs to be pointed out; Terry Dodson’s guide on how he created the cover is an awesome frame work.  I especially liked how he has gravitated towards using colored pencils to differentiate between stages of the drawings.  Seeing how Dodson pulls everything together is like standing in Emerald City and getting a peak behind the curtain!  Except there is no let down!

Adventureman #7 is a book that is definitely worth picking up.  Matt Fraction, Terry Dodson, and Rachel Dodson are spinning a tale that is definitely one that everyone should be following!  The biggest positive I can give any book is how soon I want to read it.  There are a number of books that I wait until I have a complete story arc before I read any of it.  However, then there are books like Adventureman.  Finding out that there’s a new issue coming out next week always gives me something to look forward to.  And it should give all of you an urge to pick up now!
