THE HOOK:

Seven Secrets #15 continues this week from Boom! Studios.  The series is quickly building towards the final issue as Tom Taylor and Daniele Di Niculo move towards their endgame.

WHAT WORKED:

Seven Secrets #15 is another great issue from Tom Taylor and Daniele Di Niculo.  What really worked for me with this issue is the feeling that everything is rushing to a conclusion.  With only three more issues before the series wraps up, Taylor has started to pull all of the threads together in order to build to the (hopefully) fantastic conclusion.

Daniele Di Niculo has drawn another fantastic issue.  My favorite scene in the book is after the ‘villains’ have escaped into the land of Faerie and are then confronted by citizens from that fabled land.  The images showing the Faerie creatures are amazing.  Each of them are unique and I felt that Di Niculo did an excellent job of making them all stand out.

WHAT DID NOT WORK:

Seven Secrets #15 doesn’t have anything that I would consider to be a demerit.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

Seven Secrets #15 is really a great issue.  I really like that Tom Taylor and Daniele Di Niculo are not trying to stretch their series further than necessary.  They’ve got a story that they wanted to tell and are in the home stretch now.  I have thoroughly enjoyed this issue and the ones before it.  I’ve got all the faith in Taylor and Di Niculo sticking their landing.  Can’t wait for Seven Secrets #16!
