Spirit World #6 Review – Xanthe Zhou, Constantine and Batgirl (Cassandra Cain) have a showdown with Wan Yujing in the Spirit World in Spirit World #6, the conclusion to the Spirit World miniseries. It’s wall-to-wall action as the trio not only have to battle the monstrous Wan Yujing, they also have to take down The Gilded General, who wants to kill them before Wan Yujing can, thus locking in his power in the Spirit World. Spirit World #2 Review – Batgirl (Cassandra Cain) has been transported to Spirit World, where dead spirits of various forms exist and dine on the unfortunate living souls who go there. Meanwhile, Xanthe Zhou and John Constantine are trying to find a portal that will take them to Spirit World to rescue Cassandra, but along the way, they run into the most terrifying menace of all: Xanthe’s mother! Spirit World #1 Review – Xanthe Zhou, warrior and spirit envoy, returns in Spirit World #1 after their appearance in the Lazarus Planet: Dark Fate book. Xanthe is a master martial artist, wields the hugest sword you’ll ever see, and can create weapons or other objects by crafting them with origami. Xanthe can also travel between the Spirit World and our world. With Batgirl (Cassandra Cain) trapped in the Spirit World and Xanthe trapped in our world, Xanthe teams with John Constantine to find a new gate back to the Spirit World so they can rescue Batgirl from a fate worse than death. Lazarus Planet: Dark Fate #1 Review

Lazarus Planet: Dark Fate #1 Review – Rain caused by the eruption of Lazarus Island’s massive volcano continues falling across the Earth (thanks Batman and Robin!), causing some people who are powerless to gain powers. Also, a percentage of people who already have powers have either lost them or their powers have been altered in some way. Lazarus Planet: Dark Fate #1 tells more stories of those people who have been affected by the Lazarus Rain, and it’s an enjoyable one-shot containing four stories (2 great, 1 good and 1 mediocre).
