As we’re entering issue three of this mini-series, let’s see what progress Spider-Zero and Miles have made in finding Annie May Parker!! OR NOT!!!

Being brutally honest, I really have no idea what’s going on in this mini-series. Spider-Zero and Annie May Parker haven’t been seen or even mentioned since issue one besides the recap page. I thought the whole point was for Spider-Zero and Miles to find her and save the Web of Life and Destiny?? Instead, we’re given what is for lack of better terms a one-shot on another Earth. In this case, Earth-14512.

As in issue two, if this were a stand-alone one-shot I’d give it a much higher score, but as it has literally nothing to do with Spider-Zero and Annie May, my score will be lower.

It’s not a bad story at all. In fact I kind of like it. We see another Earth’s version of Daredevil and Kraven the Hunter. How Penni and Miles defeat Kraven is pretty slick and I really like it!

The art is what I’ll a watercolor look. While it’s very unique, the red “webbing” of Miles’ costume was completely washed out by the black in most of the issue.

Final Thoughts:

While the actual story in this issue isn’t bad at all, I’m growing increasingly frustrated in lack of seeing or mentioning who were to be the main focal points of this entire series.
