THOUGHTS

In Silver Surfer Rebirth #2, Thanos needs help…from the Silver Surfer?  Someone has stolen the reality gem, and the two of them must work together to track it down, and in the process, end up confronting key figures from their respective pasts. It was cool to see the two characters form an uneasy alliance towards a common goal and it leaves you wondering if and when Thanos will end up betraying the Silver Surfer. The Silver Surfer is one of Marvel’s more underrated characters, in my opinion, and this comic does him justice.

ART

The artwork was fantastic in Silver Surfer Rebirth #2. We see full pages of both the Surfer and Thanos fighting, as well as the scene in which Thanos and the Surfer are transported to another reality. Ron Lim does a terrific job delivering splash pages to hook the readers.  It features lots of vibrant colors throughout the issue as well.

FINAL THOUGHTS

I thoroughly enjoyed Silver Surfer Rebirth #2. I am interested to see how the character at the issue’s end fares when he faces Thanos and the Surfer, as well as who might end up having the missing reality gem.
